CRM data cleansing that checks who still works there.

CRM data cleansing has to look past bounce rates. A working mailbox does not mean the person still works there. LeadQC re-checks CRM records against 60+ live signals, flags dead contacts with reasons, and enriches what is still usable.

  • CRM exports as a source
  • Dead-contact conditions, with reasons
  • Cleansing and enrichment together
  • Your hygiene policy, applied to every row

What is CRM data cleansing?
The CRM still has the email. The person may already be gone.

Most CRM hygiene jobs start with bounce rates. That is necessary. It is not sufficient. Mailbox status is one contact signal among 60+.

CRM data cleansing is usually sold as email validation plus deduping. LeadQC covers those in the contact and identity streams. They are not the whole job. The more expensive failure is a row that still looks healthy: the email delivers, the title is senior, and the person left seven months ago.

LeadQC is the live quality layer between sourced B2B data — including CRM — and campaign-ready data. Every record is re-checked against current signals, then corrected, enriched and qualified by your rules. That is CRM data management as a quality pass. The same engine is lead validation on a vendor file. A bounce-only product is a different job — see LeadQC vs NeverBounce.

How CRM data cleansing works.
Export the CRM. Get three files back.

Upload happens inside the authenticated product after login, never through a public form or email.

  1. 01 · UploadA CRM export as a source

CRM sits next to vendor file, CSV / XLSX and API / cloud. Isolated workspace, yours.

  2. 02 · ProcessValidate, correct, enrich, qualify

60+ live signals, including employment. Missing fields fill while dead-contact conditions are detected.

  3. 03 · DeliverThree files

Rows to suppress, what to write back, and the qualified population after your QC rules.

  4. 04 · Retain90 days, or sooner

Then permanent deletion. Encryption in transit and at rest. SOC 2-aligned controls. Certification not claimed.

Which fields and signals
CRM data cleansing checks.

The engine detects the condition. Your QC policy decides what it means for this CRM and this campaign.

Email validity and mailbox status still run. They are not allowed to veto the employment stream. Job change, employer mismatch, tenure with dates, company status and domain health sit in the same picture. Where a field is missing or stale, lead enrichment fills it from current sources in the same pass.

One run. Three clear outputs.

There is no universal definition of clean B2B data. LeadQC provides the quality intelligence. You decide what passes.

Nothing disappears inside a black box. Every decision carries its reason. The three files are views of one run and can overlap. They are produced for your workspace only — not a silent overwrite, not a shared pool.

The CRM still had VP Sales at Bellcastle Inc. and a mailbox that accepted mail. The live check found a move Apr 2026. The corrected + enriched file shows sourced value, current value and added attributes so a RevOps owner can see what would be written back.

How LeadQC differs.
CRM data management is a policy, not a spreadsheet.

  • There is no universal definition of clean. You encode company QC policy and campaign rules once.
  • If you only delete bad rows, the remaining rows are still stale. Correction and enrichment happen at QC time.
  • CRM is a source alongside vendor file, CSV / XLSX and API / cloud. Near 100% accuracy* is reported on one operation’s configured rules — never a flat 100%.

Questions

CRM data cleansing, answered.

Why isn’t a working mailbox enough to clean a CRM?

A mailbox can keep accepting mail after the person has left, retired, gone independent or moved to another employer. CRM data cleansing has to re-check current employment, job change, employer mismatch, company status and domain health — not only email validity.

What does LeadQC do with a CRM export?

CRM is a first-class source, next to vendor files, CSV / XLSX and API / cloud. Every record is re-checked against 60+ live signals, corrected, enriched and qualified by your QC rules, then returned as an error file, a corrected + enriched file and a GTM-ready file.

Is this CRM data enrichment or only a scrub?

Both run in the same pass. Missing or stale fields are filled from current sources (domain, seniority, employee size, employment timeline, location) while dead-contact conditions are detected. Enrichment that skips the employment check will polish records that should have been reviewed or rejected.

How does this help CRM data management over time?

There is no universal definition of clean. You encode your company QC policy and campaign rules once (ICP, TAL, seniority, geography, exclusions, contact limits). Each run applies that policy to every record and logs the reason, so hygiene is a repeatable process rather than a one-off spreadsheet edit.

Do you store our CRM as a shared database?

No. Each customer’s files, rules and outputs live in their own workspace. There is no shared record pool. Files are not used to train models, not sold, and deleted after 90 days or sooner on request.

How fast is a CRM cleansing run?

Files process at roughly 1,000 records every 3 minutes, and all three outputs come back together. The upfront file processing takes most of that time; the live checks themselves are fast.
