LeadQC vs Clay:
a quality check, not a GTM operating system.
Clay’s public site describes GTM infrastructure: data from 150+ providers, agents, signals and workflows. LeadQC quality-checks the B2B file you already have, against 60+ live signals and your QC rules.
What Clay says it is.
In its own words.
“Infrastructure to get any data, run agentic workflows, and launch GTM plays.” Clay’s FAQ adds data enrichment and automated personalized outreach, starting from a list prospected in Clay or from a CRM.

What LeadQC is for.
A live check on a sourced file.
- 60+ live signals, including employment — mailbox status is one contact signal, not proof the person still works there.
- Your QC rules decide pass / review / reject. There is no universal definition of clean.
- Three files from one run: errors with reasons, corrected + enriched records, and a GTM-ready list.
- Not a data marketplace, contact database, outreach sequencer or ad-audience sync. Independent of Clay.

LeadQC and Clay, side by side.
What does Clay say it is?
Clay describes itself as infrastructure to get data, run agentic workflows and launch GTM plays. Its public site lists TAM sourcing, inbound enrichment, CRM enrichment and hygiene, lead scoring, automated outbound, ad sync and research at scale, with a marketplace of 150+ data providers.
What does LeadQC do that is different?
LeadQC is not a data marketplace or a workflow builder. It is a live quality layer on a file you already sourced: every record re-checked against 60+ signals, corrected, enriched and qualified by your QC rules, then returned as three files with reasons.
Can they be used together?
Yes. Clay can be an upstream source, the same way a CRM export, a vendor file or a CSV can. LeadQC does not replace Clay’s workflow layer. It quality-checks the records before they reach a campaign.
Does LeadQC build outreach sequences?
No. Clay’s public site includes automated outreach and an email sequencer. LeadQC stops at the quality decision: pass, review or reject, each with the rule and the signal.
How is uploaded data handled on LeadQC?
Files are processed in an isolated workspace, encrypted in transit and at rest, never used to train models, and deleted after 90 days or sooner on request. SOC 2-aligned controls. Certification not claimed.
